Anderson graduated from Wake Forest University and the University of Mississippi School of Law, and is admitted to practice in North Carolina and Tennessee state and federal courts and before the United States Supreme Court. He has served on several community nonprofit boards, frequently in leadership roles, including the Kiwanis Club of Hendersonville, the Children & Family Resource Center, the Henderson County Bar Association, and the Henderson County Partnership for Economic Development.
