Our firm is pleased to welcome Anderson T. Ellis to our business practice group in our Hendersonville office. He will work with local, regional and national businesses through all stages of development and growth. This includes business formation and entity choice, mergers and acquisitions, sale and purchase agreements and restructuring.
Anderson is a Hendersonville native who attended Wake Forest University, earning a bachelor’s degree in Sociology in 2006. He went on to earn his law degree from the University of Mississippi in 2009. In addition to being licensed in North Carolina, Anderson is licensed in Tennessee and spent two years at a practice in Franklin before returning to Hendersonville, working the last 6 years handling a variety of issues such as contract disputes, HOA/POA issues and felony criminal charges.

Anderson is proud to again call Hendersonville home, spending time with his wife Brittany and their dog Tipper, often hiking in the beautiful blue ridge mountains of Western North Carolina. He and his wife enjoy cooking and movies, and Anderson has been known to periodically experiment in home brewing, a popular hobby in Western North Carolina. He enjoys giving back to the Hendersonville community as incoming Board President for the Children and Family Resource Center and as a Board Member of the Henderson County Education Foundation, as well as past-president of the Kiwanis Club.
Anderson’s love of Hendersonville and the people that reside there has contributed to his desire to continue his business law experience with Van Winkle, knowing he will have opportunities to help local business owners prepare strategies to grow their businesses.
