Robert A. Mays is a member of our firm’s Creditors’ Rights and Litigation practice groups. Rob has cultivated a record of success advocating for clients in a wide range of contested matters, including complex collection cases, bankruptcies, business disputes, construction liens, and claims under various federal statutes, including the False Claims Act and Title VII. He has appeared in federal courts in several states, and has served as a member of the North Carolina Bar Association’s Bankruptcy Council.
Lindsay Parris Thompson has been a member of The Van Winkle Law Firm since 2008, and focuses her practice largely on matters involving real estate law, including commercial real estate transactions, land use, and property owner association matters. Over the years, she has also successfully represented banks in commercial financing transactions and has provided counsel to landowners and developers during negotiations of contracts, sales and acquisitions, financing and leasing, zoning, and title and real property disputes.
