Kristen is a member of our firm’s business practice, focusing on business matters, creditors’ rights, bankruptcy, commercial lending, and commercial and residential real estate. She represents banks, lenders, and other financial institutions and investors in many types of transactions, including but not limited to collections, foreclosures, title claims, reformations, modifications, loan workouts, fraudulent transfers, landlord/tenant issues, bankruptcy, partitions, lender liability, and general civil litigation. She also represents taxing authorities with collections and other matters and provides lender counsel for commercial and complex financing transactions.
Kristen is a University of Memphis graduate. Since earning her law degree, she has accumulated several years of foreclosure experience, including defending suits for injunction, trials, and appeals. She represents many different types of unsecured and secured creditors in consumer and business bankruptcy proceedings throughout North Carolina.
Kristen is admitted to practice in the Middle District of North Carolina, the Western District of North Carolina, the United States District Court, and the Cherokee Supreme Court, Eastern Band of Cherokee Indians. She is affiliated with the North Carolina State Bar, the North Carolina Bar Association, the North Carolina Association of Women Attorneys, and the 28th Judicial District Bar.
