Asheville, N.C. – The Van Winkle Law Firm is pleased to welcome attorney Nicholas J. D’ Auria to its trusts, estates, and elder law practice group. D’ Auria joins the firm’s Hendersonville office, helping clients find creative avenues for financing health care through public benefits, while preserving their assets. He helps clients control their affairs and decision making through incapacity and estate planning.
Before joining the firm, D’ Auria worked for one of the nation’s largest banks in the areas of trust administration, alternative vesting, and estate administration. He received his bachelor’s degree in trust and wealth management from Campbell University in 2012 and went on to earn his law degree at Wake Forest University School of Law in 2016. D’ Auria is a member of the National Academy of Elder Law Attorneys (NAELA) and the North Carolina State Bar Association in the Elder & Special Needs section, as well as the Estate Planning & Fiduciary section.
